I. Countermeasure Part

Cylinder Head Gasket: 0453-10-271D (Carbon Type) or

Cylinder Head Gasket Set: 8171-99-101B or 8171-99-101C (This set includes the above carbon type cylinder head gasket.)

NOTE:
This cylinder head gasket has been installed on vehicles produced from the end of October, 1983.

II. Repair Procedures

1. Head Gasket Replacement

Refer to the related Workshop Manual.

2. Cylinder Head Replacement and/or Engine Overhaul

Prolonged driving with coolant and/or oil leakage may result in damage to other engine parts. Therefore, in a case involving cylinder head replacement and/or engine overhaul, you are requested to contact your District Service Manager for authorization.
