Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn cap assembly.
3. Scribe marks on steering column shaft and steering wheel, then remove steering wheel.
4. Remove steering column cover.
5. Working from underneath instrument panel, disconnect speedometer cable from cluster.
6. Remove instrument cluster hood.
7. Remove instrument cluster to dash panel attaching screws, then pull cluster outward and disconnect cluster electrical couplers.
8. Remove instrument cluster from vehicle.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
