Engine Replace

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove hood.
2. Remove air cleaner.
3. Drain cooling system and oil pan.
4. Disconnect all wiring connections that will interfere with engine removal.
5. Disconnect accelerator cable from injection pump.
6. Disconnect fuel and overflow pipes.
7. Disconnect heater hoses, then the upper and lower hoses from radiator.
8. Remove exhaust pipe to manifold attaching bolts, then position exhaust pipe aside.
9. Remove clutch hydraulic cylinder.
10. Remove cooling fan and radiator cowl.
11. Remove radiator to radiator support attaching bolts, then the radiator.
12. Remove oil cooler.
13. Remove exhaust pipe hanger, then support transmission with suitable jack.
14. Remove engine to transmission support bolts.
15. Remove engine mount bracket nuts and bolts, then install suitable engine hoist.
16. Pull engine forward until transmission input shaft clears clutch assembly, then raise and remove engine from vehicle.
17. Reverse procedure to install.
