Fuse Locations of Various Models

Fuse locations

There are various locations for power distribution boxes on different models. Shown are the descriptions and locations for several models.

3 Series Locations







- E36: Left rear corner of engine compartment.




- E46: Inside glove box. High amperage fuses are mounted on top of fuse box.

5 Series and X5
- E34: Left rear corner of engine compartment.
- E39: Inside of glove box and right hand side of luggage compartment. High amperage fuses are located underneath the passenger front seat.






- E53: Inside of glove box and right hand side of cargo area. High amperage fuses are located inside of spare tire well.

7 Series Locations
- E32: Left rear corner of engine compartment.






- E38: Right rear corner of engine compartment and right hand side of luggage compartment. High amperage fuses are located underneath the passenger front seat.

Mini Locations






- Left hand side of engine compartment next to strut tower and left side kick panel.

8 Series and Z8




- E31: Left rear corner of engine compartment and left hand corner of luggage compartment.






- E52: Inside of the glove box and behind the passenger seat in the navigation computer storage box. High amperage fuse are located next to the battery in the trunk.
