WINDSHIELD/MOULDING REMOVAL
1. Remove the inside rear view mirror from the mounting button. Remove the windshield wiper arms.
2. Remove the lower front deck garnish (Figure 1).
3. Remove the upper windshield moulding from the windshield (Figure 2).
4. Mark the bonded areas of the body and the glass at several positions using tape or some other suitable marks (Figure 3).
5. Using a sharp-pointed drill, make two holes in the adhesive area of the windshield. One at the upper edge and one at the lower edge (Figure 4).
CAUTION:
In order to protect the body from damage, apply cloth tape to all body areas around the installed glass before cutting the adhesive.
6. From inside of the vehicle, insert one end of a wire through the adhesive material which was applied to the upper edge of the windshield. Insert the other end of the wire through the adhesive material to the outside, at the lower edge of the windshield.
Secure each end of the wire to a piece of wood or similar object. Carefully cut through the adhesive by pulling the wire along the windshield from outside the vehicle in a sawing motion (Figure 5).
7. Take out the glass using glass holders (Figure 6).
