Fuel Pump Ballast Resistor: Testing and Inspection

FUEL PUMP RESISTOR CHECK




1. Disconnect the fuel pump resistor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals.

Standard value: 0.45 - 0.65 Ohms [20 °C (68 °F)]

3. If the resistance is out of specification replace the fuel pump resistor.
