Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Position Sensor Inspection:

Throttle Position Sensor Resistance Check:

1. Disconnect throttle sensor connector.
2. Using an ohm meter, check resistance across sensor terminals 2 and 3 changes while opening throttle valve manually.
3. Resistance value should change smoothly, without any glitches.
4. Replace sensor if it fails the above test.
