Idle Up Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

FICD Solenoid Test:

Apply battery voltage to the terminals A and B. A clicking sound should be heard. If not proceed to step #2.

FICD Inspection:

Remove the solenoid and check for sticking plunger or broken spring.
Replace the solenoid if it fails the above test.
