Rear Suspension Assembly

Fig. 1 Exploded View Of Rear Suspension:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheels.
2. On models with drum brakes, disconnect brake hydraulic line and parking brake cable at equalizer.
3. On models with disc brakes, disconnect parking brake cable from caliper, then remove caliper assembly. Brake hydraulic hose does not have to be disconnected.
4. On models with drum brakes, remove parking brake cable attaching bolts.
5. Remove stabilizer and suspension member attaching bolts, Fig. 1.
6. Lower vehicle, then remove rear seat and parcel shelf.
7. Remove upper strut retaining nuts.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
