Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation

Fuel Check/Rollover Valve:

PURPOSE
To allow fuel vapor to enter the Evaporative Emission Canister but not raw fuel.

OPERATION
When the fuel tank internal pressure has increased over normal pressure, the fuel check valve will to allow fuel vapors to enter the Evaporative Canister but block liquid fuel. The vacuum valve opens when a vacuum has been produced in the tank.

CONSTRUCTION
The Fuel Check Valve, consists of a pressure valve and a vacuum valve and incorporates the Rollover Valve.
