Fuel Filler Tube Installation

1. On the lower end of the fuel filler tube, put protective coverings over the open tubes. This is to prevent contaminants from entering the hose during installation.

2. Attach the grommet to the fuel filler tube.

3. From under the vehicle, put the fuel filler tube in position. Loosely attach the two new fuel filler tube bracket bolts from Kit A (one near the fuel tank and one on the wheel house).

4. Attach the grommet to the fuel filler hole.

5. Remove the fuel hose protective coverings and connect the two fuel hoses using the new clamps provided in Kit A. Remove the pinch pliers.

6. Make sure there are no leaks at the fuel filler hose and connections.

7. Put the fuel filler tube protective cover on.

8. Prepare the vehicle for return to the dealership.
