Acceleration Cut Control System (ACC)

Air Conditioning Acceleration Cut Control:

PURPOSE
To cut the Air Conditioner (A/C) during full throttle application.

OPERATION
The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses signals from the A/C Switch, Neutral Switch and the Throttle Position Sensor to cut power to the A/C Clutch Relay. This system improves acceleration when the A/C is used.
