CIRCUIT OPERATION
When excessive wheel spin is detected by the EBTCM, it will request the PCM to reduce engine torque via a high speed pulse width modulated (PWM) signal on circuit 463.

FAILURE CONDITIONS
Important
^ If PCM code P1571 (Oldsmobile) or 93 (Buick) is not present, no fault exists with the ABS/TCS system.

DTC 75 sets when the EBTCM receives a serial data message from the PCM to disable Traction Control. DTC 75 sets under the following two conditions.

1. EBTCM to PCM communications.
^ CKT 463 or CKT 800 open or shorted.
2. Buick PCM Driveability conditions to include PCM DTC's PO1O1, P0341, P0342, P1350, P1361, P1623, P1630, P0131, P0132, P0171, and P0172.
3. Oldsmobile PCM Driveability conditions to include PCM DTC's P093 and P133.
