This procedure has been changed by a Technical Service Bulletin.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove knee bolster from under steering column.
3. Remove upper steering column bracket nuts, then lower the steering column.
4. Remove trunk/fuel door release and interior lamp trim plates by pulling rearward and disconnecting electrical connectors, Fig. 10.
5. Remove center A/C outlet trim panel.
6. Carefully pull instrument panel cluster trim plate rearward, Fig. 11.
7. Remove instrument cluster attaching screws.
8. Pull cluster rearward and disconnect two electrical connectors.
9. Remove cluster from vehicle, Fig. 12.
