Glove Compartment: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right closeout/insulator panel.
2. Open the instrument panel storage compartment.
3. Remove the fasteners (1) from the storage compartment hinge to the IP.
4. Remove the IP storage compartment.
5. Remove the lock cylinder.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the lock cylinder.
2. Install the storage compartment.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the storage compartment fasteners (1).

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Close the storage compartment lid.
5. Install the right closeout/insulator panel.
