Brake Caliper Bracket Overhaul

1. Remove the caliper anchor bracket.
2. Mount the anchor bracket in a vise.
3. Remove the pin bolt boots from caliper anchor bracket (4).





4. Remove the bushings from the anchor bracket mounting bores. Use a screwdriver or punch in order to bend the bushings (2) inward. Extract the bushings with needle nose pliers.





IMPORTANT:
^ Clean all parts in clean, denatured alcohol. Dry with unlubricated compressed air.
^ Inspect the caliper anchor bracket for cracks. If cracked, replace bracket

5. Lubricate and install new bushings (2) into bracket mounting bores.
6. Lubricate and install new pin bolt boots.
7. Install the anchor bracket.
