Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Left

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the knee bolster.
2. Remove the knee bolster reinforcement from the IP.
3. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the knee bolster deflectors (2) to the steering column bracket.




4. Remove the deflectors (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Align the knee bolster deflectors (2) to the steering column bracket.




NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the knee bolster deflector fasteners (1).

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Install the knee bolster reinforcement to the IP.
4. Install the knee bolster.
