Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover




1. Open the rear door.
2. Remove the lower half of the rear door weatherstrip with retainers using J 38778.
3. Remove the upper half of the weatherstrip by pulling the weatherstrip from the track.
4. Remove the weatherstrip from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the weatherstrip to the door.
2. Press the upper half of the weatherstrip into the track.
3. Install the lower half of the weatherstrip by pressing each weatherstrip retainer in, until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the rear door.
