Low Engine Coolant

The low coolant indicator receives battery voltage when the ignition switch in the on or start position. The instrument cluster will turn the indicator on for 1 second during engine start-up for a bulb check. The indicator is grounded by the engine coolant level indicator module when the coolant level in the coolant reservoir is below minimum recommended level.
