Power Steering Hoses Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle in order to catch any fluid that may drain.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
4. Remove the power steering return hose from the power steering pump.
5. Remove the power steering return hose from the power steering cooler pipe.
6. Remove the rubber section of the power steering return hose.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the rubber section of the power steering return hose to the power steering pump and the power steering cooler pipe.
2. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Fill the power steering system. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid.
5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding Power Steering System.
6. Inspect the power steering system for leaks. Refer to Power Steering Gear and Pump Leaks.
7. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
