Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the brake caliper.
2. Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper bracket.





3. Remove the brake caliper bracket bolts (1).
4. Remove the brake caliper bracket.

Installation Procedure

Important: Apply a few drops of GM Loctite(tm) or equivalent to the threads of the brake caliper bracket bolts before installing or replace the bolts with new pre-coated bolts.

1. Install the brake caliper bracket to the lower control arm.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the brake caliper bracket bolts (1).
Tighten the brake caliper bracket bolts to 128 Nm (94 lb ft).
3. Install the brake caliper.
