Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) .
2. Lower the front door window.




3. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip from the door pinchweld flange.

1. Lift upwards, starting at the rear, to disengage sealing strip clips.
2. Slide sealing strip rearward to clear the upper auxiliary molding.




Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip to the pinchweld flange.

1. Align sealing strip to door.
2. Slide the strip forward and under upper auxiliary molding.
3. Ensure the end cap is flush to door cutline.
4. Rotate the sealing strip downward.
5. Align sealing strip clips to slots in the door pinchweld flange.
6. Push the sealing strip down to fully seat and secure to the door pinchweld flange.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power (Mirror Replacement - Power Mirror) .
3. Raise the front door window.
