Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headliner Replacement (with Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof))Headliner Replacement (without Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof)) in Interior Trim.
2. Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
3. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly drain spouts.
4. Remove the tape securing the drain hoses to the windshield pillars.
5. Remove the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
6. Remove the front drain hose from the wheelhouse of the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the drain hoses up through the wheel house to the windshield pillars.
2. Tape the front drain hoses into position on the windshield pillars.
3. Install the front wheelhouse liners. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.

Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.


4. Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts with new tie wraps.
5. Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headliner Replacement (with Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof))Headliner Replacement (without Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof)) in Interior Trim.
