Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure





1. Lower the headliner in order to access the rear drain hose connections. Refer to Headliner Replacement (with Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof))Headliner Replacement (without Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof)) in Interior Trim.
2. Cut the tie wraps from the rear drain hose drain spouts.
3. Disconnect the drain hoses from the sunroof module assembly.
4. Remove the upper portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.




5. Remove the rear compartment trim (1,3). Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear (Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear) in Body Rear End.




6. Remove the lower portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.
7. Remove the drain hose from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the rear drain hose up through the rear shelf panel.




2. Clip the lower portion of the rear drain hoses into position near the wheelhouse.




3. Install the rear compartment trim (1,3). Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear (Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear) in Body Rear End.




4. Secure the upper portion of the rear drain hoses to the retainer clips.

Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.


5. Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module assembly drain spouts with new tie wraps.
6. Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headliner Replacement (with Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (With Sunroof))Headliner Replacement (without Sunroof) (Headliner Replacement (Without Sunroof)) in Interior Trim.
