SYMPTOMS - ROOF

IMPORTANT: The following must be completed before using the symptom tables.

1. Perform Diagnostic System Check - Power Sunroof in order to verify that all of the following are true:
- There are no DTCs set.
- The control module(s) can communicate via the serial data link. Diagnostic System Check - Power Sunroof
2. Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions.

Visual/Physical Inspection
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Power Sunroof system.
- Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
- Inspect the RAP fuse 20A for obvious damage or conditions which could effect the operation of the power sunroof system.

Intermittent
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions.

Symptom List
Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
- Power Sunroof Inoperative
- Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Express Position
- Power Sunroof Does Not Close
- Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout in Accessory Delay Module, if the power sunroof should operate for more than 10 minutes after the ignition has been turned OFF.
