1. Check for parking brake lever travel of 6-7 notches. If travel is excessive, adjust right and left cable length by using adjusting nuts. If rear cable is excessively taut when lever is returned, the adjuster lever will not engage adjuster and rear brake automatic adjuster will malfunction.
