Air Injection Check Valve: Service and Repair

1. Release clamp and disconnect air hose from check valve inlet.
2. Remove tube nut securing injection tube to exhaust manifold or catalyst.
3. Remove top nut from water valve outlet and bolts from bracket, then injection tube from engine.
4. Remove catalyst injection tube bolt from catalyst flange and injection tube from exhaust system.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque injection tube to catalyst flange bolt to 125 inch lbs. Torque injection tube nut to 25-35 ft lbs and bracket assembly bolts to 125 inch lbs.
