Vehicle List, CA Recall Completion Label & Parts
Vehicle ListEach dealer to whom involved vehicles were invoiced (or the current dealer at the same location) will receive a listing of them with this letter, arranged in Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) sequence. Owners known to Chrysler are also listed. The lists are for dealer reference in arranging for service of involved vehicles.
Each dealer without a Vehicle List will receive an information copy of this letter for use in performing the service on other involved vehicles upon request.
California Recall Completion Label Requirement
Owners of vehicles registered in California only are being mailed a recall completion label to be delivered to dealers for installation at the time of service. This is a requirement of the State of California.
When the service has been completed, use a ball point pen to print our dealer code on the label. Peel the label from the backing and affix it next to the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label.
Each California dealer will also receive three labels enclosed with this letter for use as spares. Additional labels may be obtained from the Los Angeles or San Francisco Zone Service Office if needed. Ask for Recall #394 Completion Label.
Parts
Air bleed control valve harness package #C3940275 will be provided free of charge to all dealers for service of involved vehicles.
Each dealer to whom involved vehicles were invoiced (or the current dealer at the same location) will receive enough parts packages to service 50% of those vehicles. All other dealers will receive 3 parts packages each.
Additional parts packages may be ordered without charge from Parts Depots after initial supplies have been used. Please order only as necessary.
