14B Heated Air Intake System (Engine Warm)

1. With engine warm, disconnect air duct from air cleaner.
2. Disconnect vacuum hose from heated air inlet system air temperature sensor.
3. Connect a hand held vacuum pump to air temperature sensor and try to apply vacuum.
4. If vacuum does not hold and heated air door remains open, proceed to Test 15.
5. If vacuum holds, replace air temperature sensor.
6. If heated air door does not open, check for binding and repair or replace as necessary.
