22B Charging System Field Circuit

1. With the engine running connect a voltmeter between cavity No. 2 of the logic module black connector and ground.
2. Connect one end of a jumper wire to cavity No. 5 of the logic module white connector.
3. Very quickly touch the other end of the jumper wire to the logic module mounting stud and watch the voltmeter.
4. If voltmeter shows an increase in voltage replace the logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module make sure the terminal in cavity No. 5 is not crushed so that it cannot touch the logic module pin.
5. If voltmeter does not show an increase Perform Step C.
