23A Battery Temperature Circuit (Code 44)

1. Turn the ignition switch Off and disconnect the logic module black connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between cavity No. 20 of the logic module black connector and ground.
3. If the ohmmeter shows some resistance, replace the logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module make sure the terminal in cavity No. 20 is not crushed so that it cannot touch the logic module pin.
4. If the ohmmeter has 0 resistance, Perform Step B.
5. If the ohmmeter shows an open circuit, Perform Step C.
