24C Sensor Calibrations (MAP Sensor)
1. Engine must be Cold.
2. Place ignition switch in the Run position.
3. Connect a voltmeter to cavity No. 19 of the logic module black connector and ground.
4. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the MAP sensor and connect an auxiliary vacuum supply to the MAP sensor.
5. Apply 5 inches of vacuum and record the voltage.
6. Apply 20 inches of vacuum and record the voltage.
7. Subtract the voltage recorded at 20 inches from the voltage recorded at 5 inches.
8. The voltage difference should be 2.34 to 2.85 volts.
9. If the voltage is okay, Perform Test, Checking Heated Air Intake.
10. If voltage is not okay, replace the MAP sensor.
