5B Coolant Sensor Wires

1. Disconnect logic module white and black electrical connectors.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between white electrical connector terminal No. 25 and black electrical connector terminal No. 23 and note ohmmeter reading.
3. If ohmmeter indicates resistance, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module, make sure the terminal in cavity No. 23 of the black connector is not crushed so that it cannot touch the logic module pin.
4. If ohmmeter does not indicate resistance, check wiring between coolant sensor and logic module electrical connector terminals.
