1985-86 Exc 1985 Models W/Turbocharger
1. Start and idle engine until engine coolant reaches normal operating temperature, then ensure all lights and accessories are in Off position.
2. Place transmission or transaxle selector lever in Neutral, then disconnect electric cooling fan at radiator.
3. Apply parking brake, then on models with power steering, set wheels in straight ahead position.
4. Adjust curb idle speed to specifications, if necessary, then turn air conditioning switch On.
5. Adjust engine idle RPM using the throttle opener setting screw to specifications shown, Fig. 8.
6. Connect electric cooling fan at radiator, then cycle air conditioner switch On and Off to ensure proper operation of throttle opener.
