A change in the valve body used in the KM172 automatic transaxle on some 1985 and 1986 Colt vehicles requires an update to the 1985 and 1986 Colt Service Manual as follows:

Due to the elimination of the servo control valve, plug, and pin, the valve body - disassembly - reassembly procedures and illustration number 172024 must be changed.
