The output shaft helical gear for the KM160 series transaxles has been revised to improve the gear tooth contact patterns.



The gears can be identified by the grooves on the gear outer edge as indicated in the chart below.
Interchangeability:

New parts are useable in old and new transmission. Old parts are not useable in new transmission.
