F. Check Vacuum Hose Harness Installation1. Verify the presence of a vacuum harness between the EGR valve and the carburetor as shown in Figure 12. If the vacuum harness is missing, skip to Section G.
2. Confirm that the vacuum delay valve of the harness is connected to the EGR valve and that the other port of the 3-way vacuum connector is connected to the thermovalve (Figure 13).
3. Verify that the vacuum harness is routed around the carburetor and the F-connector of the harness is teed into the vacuum hose connecting the base of the carburetor and the depression chamber (Figure 14).
4. Ensure that the harness is tie-wrapped to the carburetor water hose to prevent interference with the carburetor linkage.
