G. Vacuum Hose Harness Installation (if necessary)





1. Cut the vacuum hose between the thermovalve and the EGR valve as shown in Figure 15.





2. Discard the two short hoses on the end of the supplied vacuum hose harness. Connect the vacuum delay valve to the cut hose leading to the EGR valve. Connect the open port on the connector to the cut hose leading to the thermovalve (Figure 16).





3. Locate the vacuum hose connecting the carburetor base and the depression chamber. Cut the hose as shown (Figure 17).





4. Route the vacuum hose harness around the rear of the carburetor and insert the F-connector into the cut ends of the hose (Figure 18).

5. Secure the harness to the carburetor water hose with the supplied tie strap to prevent interference with the carburetor linkage.
