K. Replace Carburetor (Only For Continued High CO Level after Idle Speed and Mixture Adjustment)

1. Replace the carburetor per Service Manual Procedure using carburetor Part No. MD997198 - Colt Vista 4WD w/Manual Transmission.

NOTE:
Do not install a Choke Shim on the new Carburetor.

2. Important:
Transfer the primary air bleed jet previously installed in the old carburetor to the new carburetor, following the procedure in Section D.

3. Check and adjust idle speeds as required.

4. Disconnect the tachometer and remove the analyzer probe from the tailpipe.

5. Reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
