Air Valve Rod

Fig. 15 Adjusting air valve rod:

1. Using tool C-4207A or equivalent, apply at least 18 inches Hg vacuum to vacuum nipple on choke vacuum diaphragm, Fig. 15.
2. Close air valve.
3. Insert specified gauge plug between rod and end of slot.
4. Bend rod to adjust clearance to specifications.
