ANGLE GAUGE METHOD
1. Attach rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke shaft, Fig. 16.
2. Open throttle to allow choke valve to close.
3. Set up angle gauge and set angle to specification.
4. Hold secondary lockout lever away from pin.
5. Hold throttle lever in wide open position.
6. Adjust as necessary by bending tang of fast idle lever until bubble is centered.

PLUG GAUGE METHOD
1. Attach rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke shaft, Fig. 17.
2. Open throttle to allow choke valve to close.
3. Hold secondary lockout lever away from pin.
4. Hold throttle lever in wide open position.
5. Apply slight opening pressure on choke blade and insert specified plug gauge between top of choke blade and air horn casting.
6. Adjust as necessary by bending tang of fast idle lever until a slight drag is felt when gauge is withdrawn.
