Secondary Lockout

Fig. 18 Adjusting secondary lockout:

1. Check secondary lockout lever adjustment as follows:
a. Close choke valve.
b. Close throttle valve.
c. Insert .015 inch plug gauge, Fig. 18.
d. Bend pin to obtain .015 inch clearance.
2. Check secondary lockout opening clearance as follows:
a. Hold choke valve wide open by pushing down on tail of fast idle cam.
b. Insert .015 inch plug gauge, Fig. 18.
c. File pin as necessary to achieve .015 inch clearance, being sure to remove all burrs after filing.
