The standard tire on 1985 police vehicles (Code AHB) is the new

Goodyear "Eagle GT/HR" steel belted radial. This new tire replaces the Goodyear "Blue Streak" rayon cord radial tire used in prior years.

Mixing of steel belted and rayon cord tires (or other brands with different cord material) will adversely affect the handling characteristics. This may be critical on police vehicles where maximum handling performance may be frequently required.

CAUTION: DO NOT MIX GOODYEAR "EAGLE GT/HR" AND
"BLUE STREAK" TIRES OR OTHER TIRE BRANDS WITH DIFFERENT CORD MATERIAL ON THE SAME VEHICLE.
