15-Step E, 8 Volt Power Supply

1. Place ignition switch in OFF position.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from manifold absolute pressure sensor.
3. Connect a suitable voltmeter between terminal No. 1 of the logic module black electrical connector and ground.
4. Place ignition switch in RUN position and note voltmeter reading.
5. If voltmeter indicates a reading of at least 4 1/2 volts, replace manifold absolute pressure sensor.
6. If voltmeter indicates a reading of 0 volts, check wiring from terminal No. 1 of logic module black electrical connector for short circuit. If wiring is satisfactory, replace logic module.
