7-Step C, Ignition Coil Wire For an Open

1. Place ignition switch in off position, then disconnect [1][2]power module 10 way electrical connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between ignition coil negative terminal and terminal No. 1 of [1][2]power module 10 way electrical connector.
3. If ohmmeter indicated continuity, replace [1][2]power module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the [1][2]power module make sure the terminals in cavity No. 1 are not spread apart so they cannot touch the power module pins.
4. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, check wiring from terminal No. 1 of power module 10 terminal connector for an open circuit.
