DR-1A CODE to DR TEST Chart (Checking for Fault Codes)
1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine harness connector.
2. Put system in Diagnostic Mode and record all codes.
3. If code sequence is 22-28-25 or 22-28-26, proceed to test indication.
4. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect the computer 14-way connector for 1 minute and then reconnect it.
5. Start engine and run for two minutes, then turn engine Off.
6. Put system into diagnostic mode and record all codes.
7. If codes displayed are the same, proceed to step 8, If codes are not repeated, check for loose of corroded wiring connections in the circuit.
8. Initiate the appropriate diagnosis for the following fault code displays:
a. Code sequence 88-14-55. Proceed to Test 10 if a cold engine problem or Test 18 if a warm engine problem.
