DR-26A Carburetor Bowl Vent System

This test must be performed with engine at normal operating temperature.
1. Remove bowl vent hose, from carburetor and the canister, and blow lightly into hose.
2. If air passes through the hose, proceed to Step B.
3. If equipped with a TSB 18-31-85 thermo valve. Ambient temperature of 50°F or less will close the valve, and will not allow air to pass through the hose.
4. If no air passes through the hose, and the thermo valve is open, clear the hose or replace bowl vent valve.
5. Check for liquid in the hose. If liquid is found, check routing of the hose.
