DR-29D A/C Input Signal to Computer

This test must be performed with engine at normal operating temperature.
1. Turn ignition switch, and the A/C unit Off. Disconnect the computer 14-way connector, then connect a voltmeter to terminal No. 7 of the 14-way connector and ground.
2. Turn ignition switch to the Run position. Voltmeter should read within 1 volt of battery voltage
3. If voltage reading is satisfactory, ensure terminal No. 7 pins make proper contact with computer pin. If terminals are good, replace computer.
4. If voltage reading is unsatisfactory, repair open circuit from terminal No. 7 to A/C push button switch.
