DR-5B V.O.S. Control Solenoid Circuit

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect 14-way computer electrical connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between terminal No. 8 of the 14-way connector and ground.
3. Turn ignition switch in Run position.
4. If voltmeter reads within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace computer. Before replacing computer, ensure pins in terminal No. 8 are contacting correctly.
5. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, locate and repair open in wire between V.O.S. control solenoid and terminal No. 8.
