REMOVAL
1. Remove oil filter.
2. Remove seven oil pump mounting bolts while holding pump together as an assembly.
3. Pull assembly from block.




REPLACE
Seal all oil pump attaching bolt threads with suitable sealer before installation.

1. Install new housing to block and housing to cover gaskets.
2. Place cover on housing and insert two bolts to maintain alignment.
3. Install housing into block, then rotate assembly as necessary to engage drive gear shaft with slot in driveshaft.
4. Align bolt pattern, install remaining bolts and torque bolts to 9.4 ft. lbs. (111 inch lbs.).
